So..!

Do people want to know things? Probably not.
Things are as follows:
Aaron loved me a couple weeks ago. He doesn't seem so keen on me this week, so things are getting back to normal which is good. He's also working a ridiculous amount which means he's going to be not so nice for awhile.
For the past couple days coffee has been terrible. Really sour tasting, to me at least. Til this afternoon. Gus made me one. It was really good. I don't know what he does differently to Aaron, but his is much better.
I seem to have to give up my title of prettiest girl in the shop because there's actually another one in there now...and Sasa was never much competition anyways. Yes, after five months of being the only female employee, it seems they've recruited another one. She's Aaron's girlfriend's sister though, and I don't see this ending well.
I've applied for CIT. Hopefully I shall get in. I should probably tell Sasa. Maybe I shouldn't bother til I know whether I've got in or not. Less heartache and headache that way.
Andy is leaving in a few weeks, which makes me sad. He's a great guy.
Working two weeks straight is not good for the soul. Or body for that matter.
One of my favourite customers, Ian, has a wonderful collection of ties, some too horrendous to hate, you just have to love them. I saw a sign that said "all ties $2" so I bought a tie. It's kinda awful in an awesome way. I might give it to him. This is the kind of nice person I am to my customers.
Work is good. Mostly.
The shop has been renovated. Still some more to do though. (I had a smart person come into the shop, say, "Oh, it's changed a lot in here" and then walk out again the other day. I had a "nah, really?" moment and Gus responded with a "thanks for letting us know" as soon as she walked out.)
Even though it's winter and business has slowed considerably due to the colder weather, we're still going through 4kg to 5kg of coffee a day, which is fairly awesome. Also, we have started supplying to most restaurants in Manuka and a fair number of cafes and universities around Canberra and southern NSW.
Sasa and Aaron both won awards in the barista comp not so long ago. And Gus and Katie are competing in a latte art comp in a couple weeks time. Yes, such things really do exist. It's mostly about bragging rights, but why the hell not? The boys have their own little competitions in the shop all the time. (I won one last weekend...or the weekend before... I don't remember. It all merges together into one long continuous day when you're there as often as I am.)
A gay man told me that I'm hott, especially for a girl, the other day. It was a first for me.
Apparently I'm going to Sydney tomorrow to see family. I now don't know whether that will actually happen or not though.
Perfume is an odd sort of movie. It's slow moving, but it's intriguing so you keep watching it even though it seems like it goes for an eternity.
iPods are good for long bus trips. The "improved and more convenient" bus services in Canberra have made both my morning and afternoon/evening commutes longer. Ironic, huh?
I have a couple paintings to do. Who knew that the beautifully rich golden colour of crema would be so difficult to get just right when mixing from primaries? I got there in the end though.
I still haven't finished making my dress. That'll be awhile away I think.
Need to find an apartment for next year. Rent is ridiculous here.
Nothing else really comes to mind right now. I think that's about all the things there are.
I do hope that everyone is having fun. It's not worth it unless it's fun.

Happiness is the seasonal air,
Let the warm breezes lessen your cares,
The sun is shining the grass is green,
Open your window and pull down the screen,
Time to put your worries away,
How can you feel down on such a beautiful day?
