Good news! I quit working at Kona. Sasa didn't really want me to go. I didn't tell any customers I was leaving either. I've since been in just to buy coffee or say hi and seen people I used to talk to a lot there and they were happy to see me, wondering how I've been and wishing me well. It was time for me to go. I couldn't put p with Aaron's abusive bullshit towards me anymore. I deserved better and I knew it, and I still know it, and leaving was the best thing I've ever done.
Like I've been wanting to for the past few years, I'm finally doing hairdressing. Yeah, I'm broke and loving on first year apprentice wages, however, as I'm only a couple weeks away from the three month mark which is when I get a pay rise, I will hopefully be slightlyless broke then.
Downside of it is what it's doing to my body. My shoulders are getting really muscular, as are my arms and it looks weird. And my fingernails are not fingernail looking... they're grey and gross...hair dye... just rinsing it...
But I love my job. I wouldn't want to do anything else. It is so much fun and my bosses love me and quite desperately need me too. There's only four of us in the salon. The boys like to buy us little cakes or muffins or scones or cookies every few days too... Well, now they do...not so much before Tara left, but yeah...such is life. And they give us travel size shampoo and conditioner samples sometimes too...
With the job is the requirement of attending CIT once a week. This means that I've met other apprentices and we've shared stories and experiences and given advice on some things... and some of them are insane. I love them though.
The teacher, Tracey, is fantastic. I love her. She brought us a cake last week... kind of a belated birthday cake for Cindy, who is one of the girls in my class.
Apart from that, there's not too much to tell.
I have a cousin's wedding to go to in less than two weeks. I've just found my dress and it's currently being altered to be perfect for me, by which I mean that it was a little too long because I'm short, so I'm having it hemmed at the right length. Andrew is coming with me too.
Then a few weeks after my cousin's wedding is Andrew's cousin's wedding, and I'm going to that with him... I think this means we're actually getting serious about each other, but I think I'm okay with that.
Other news...and I'm stumped. Life is life, people are people, days are finally getting warmer though the nights still hold their chill.
Things are good, what can I say?

I see the darkness behind you.
But don't look back: there is nothing to fear!
Trust me, and we will find the path into a bright future.
Leave the past behind, begin to feel free.
Come on here, to see what I see.
For I am the Truth and the Light!
who're you?

Every time I see a cloud I am impressed, because, no matter how hard I try, I'll never paint the sky as he who made it.
